Earthing

In the „Earthing” series I deal with the concept of grounding as an expression of longing and seeking contact between the own body and nature. Grounding is rooted in the body and thus in self. Physical interaction with elements of the natural environment allows embedding in the body and simultaneously contact with reality. It is the body that is the source of the relationship with nature, and therefore the being in reality. The works are a symbolic impulse to constantly reminding about the relationship with the earth, about the body as an organic part of nature. Remembering about something that’s forgotten, about the connection that is the roots for life.
This project was created as diploma of Photography at University of Fine Art in Poznan in Poland in 2013
