I Am My Home photography series ︎ from 2016 “I Am My Home” is the part of the process of searching for inner home in reference to the multidimensional relation with nature. It’s a journey into the depths of nature, into the depths of self, which contains the elements of transformation. Norway, where I’m starting to return to after many years, constitute the background of the changes. Experiencing the complexity of nature, all its elements, cyclicality and intensity becomes a guidepost in recognize and familiarize hidden internal states. Feeling what was forgotten takes the form of a kind of ritual, which it becomes possible to touch the subconscious layers in. In the series of works I’ve combined various paths of my practice. On the one hand experience of working with the body and performance, on the other hand photographic practice focused on nature and emotional aspect of the landscape. Photographs are the result of actions, that I initiated and gave in. At the same time they constitute the framework in which these activities could be undertaken. I’m both in the pictures and took them. I was inspired by the concept of “crystal eye” - an eye that simultaneously looks outward and inward. Wanderings in secluded areas, experiencing of coldness, nudity and loneliness are key components of the process, which I activated during the implementation of works. The resulting photos are its record, registration of the change. An expression of fascination with nature and experiencing it at many levels, especially the sensual ones. A process of merging with the original human environment in a dimension related to both physicality and inwardness, that results the relief. Reaching the metaphorical home that we are to ourselves. This is the fragment from my latest long-term series of works. The complete project will be release soon. This project was realized among others during&nbsp;︎&nbsp;Long Island Artist Residency in Averøya in Norway in 2017 and&nbsp;︎&nbsp;Kunstnarhuset Messen International Artist Residency in&nbsp;Ålvik in Norway in 2018; both residency was partly supported by ︎&nbsp;Culture Zone Wroclaw&nbsp;in scope of AiR Wro Culture of Mobility Programme Below the documentation from the exhibition in The present time is overfull of those all pictures. Many discourses about visuality feud about the monopoly of existence. Image as an object, as the fact, indeed as a medium; models, divisions, considerations. The need to provide information, as a defined image and reality. Much, more, more. All of this. The excess. So, if all photos transfer to a state of slavery, then… only Nature will remain. The works are the result of the interests and experiments concerning the relationship between the aspect of excess, especially in the case of photography (and the visual) and the transformation in the areas of the nature of the photographic medium. After three years of Photography studies, I decided to burn all the images from the individual laboratories to transfer them to nothingness and leave the space, that a picture describes. Simultaneously, in an attempt to explore and recognize the mode of existence, in which such matter is confined, and in the area of what and according to what does it exist. During all of this process, when different kind of photo material were melting and joining and dissappear by burning, they also started to create different spacial objects. This new transformation as the objects I decided to safe and finnally document them by photography medium. Incineration, in particular such material, that photos and the photo paper itself are, is a symbol of forgeting. However, rather it is only an illusion. That part of process has opened new area of experiments and questioning. Burning itself has become a process not only provoking to the destruction, but especially creating, thus releasing the schemes and activating matter. In such a process of transformation is difficult to predict the consequences and it is impossible to undo these changes, which occured. At the same time the effect is not the result of planning. It is the effect of actions of matter, which is not accidental however. It is a complex process of physical entities - light, time, temperature, image, information, perception... As a result of this, it becomes important to direct awareness to what there arises, simultaneously paying attention to being in the relationship between volatility of the image changeability, which remains an illusion after. As a result of that transformations the objects - traces were created, whose images tend to their own existence. Butoh as a form of work with an exploration of the relationship between body and mind. The idea of work focuses on the matters regarding the perception of the present and reality in the context of our existence and identity as the humans. At the same time it refers and explores these issues through awarness of body, mind, memories and memory. During the process I explore and discover the resonance between the body and matter. I’m looking for traces of existence in the distant memory of the body. I pervade the reality of the here and now, where non-space and non-time form integral element. The infinite and multidimensional transformation becomes the source of motion. The performance process is newer the same. This performance was originally created as the result of participation in&nbsp;“Quiet House” Subbody Butoh project in Cinema Theater in Michałowice and MiserArt in Wrocław in Poland in 2014; later it was developed during residency in ︎&nbsp;Šopa Gallery in cooperation with ︎&nbsp;K.A.I.R. And I found one to which I want to go back and do not even have to go to the other end. Enough that I enter it. I forget about breathing. They spread through every piece, slowly eating and devouring everything they encounter on their way. Changed photography series ︎ 2013-2014 It’s a journey into the area of memory and forgetting, that reveals the expanse of overlapping fragments of memories and fascination with primordial of both human being and nature itself. This primordiality is associated for me not only with animal instinct, but also with a sense of ephemeral and variability of nature, as well as its constant periodicity, in which human nature seems to be beyond the sense of linear time. I’m guided by the desire to touch these losted connections with nature, just such primeval, not dictated ones, that give support to belonging to this world, despite the fact that they are now forgotten. They are resided in the nooks of memory and body and the exploration of these areas of memories seems to be on the verge of reality and illusion, a constant relation between what is hidden and revealed. This project is the personal record of following the inner need for support in something known, but lost and forgotten. The point of reference is discovering trust to nature that establishes own soul. from oak leaves&nbsp;︎&nbsp;diam. ca. 12 cm The work refers to the syndrome of searching related to the feeling of home in the context of nature as a form inadequate to direct characterize. Home as an inner state, as a fixed reference point in the circumstances of the heterogeneous space around. When during being a long time on the road, thoughts revolve around issues of the place, own space, which you want to come back to for a while. This need combined with the original instinct to return to its territory after leaving it. And basically the release if this need, related to the sense of immersion in own space and the penetration the nature itself. In German, the approximate meaning is given by the word „waldeinsamkeit”, which refers to the feeling of loneliness in the wood and the same time to the deep relationship with nature. Grounding is rooted in the body and thus in self. Physical interaction with elements of the natural environment allows embedding in the body and simultaneously contact with reality. It is the body that is the source of the relationship with nature, and therefore the being in reality. The works are a symbolic impulse to constantly reminding about the relationship with the earth, about the body as an organic part of nature. Remembering about something that’s forgotten, about the connection that is the roots for life.
